Revelation Decoded: A Compassionate Synopsis from
The Post-Christian Church of God

The Book of Revelation Decoded: The Synopsis offers a clear, approachable guide to one of the Bible’s most vivid and misunderstood books. Created by Derich Jester, this synopsis blends insight and practical application to help readers from all backgrounds engage with Revelation’s imagery and message. Our aim, as the Post-Christian Church of God, is to move beyond sensational headlines and decode core themes—calls communities to truth, honesty, unity, and faithful living with God, in today's world.

The Book of Revelation was not a book but a letter. Revelation was not to be read by anyone who did not receive the letter. Seven copies of Revelation were to be the only copies that were to exist, and those copies were to be sent to the seven churches which were in Asia.

The Book of Revelation was the revelation of Jesus Christ. It was not a title of a book, but a statement, that the things written in the letter were the revelation of Jesus Christ, his revealing from heaven, his work he was to do, his words that were to be fulfilled. To understand the Book of Revelation, you have to use the words Jesus spoke while he was on earth, and you have to use the things written in the law and prophets because Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets. Revelation is that fulfillment.

Those are the keys to Revelation. Read it with that key and it will all make perfect sense. You see things you never saw before.

Revelation is the most genius book in the entire Bible. Alluding to 600 Old Testament passages, and even more with the words of Jesus, multiple passages, and the words of Peter and Paul. Even the structure is completely out of this world. No man, especially at that time, could have written it. It was a miracle from Jesus to John. So steeped in Hebrew Scriptures, not the Septuagint. It weaved everything together perfectly and even fulfilled history to a T.

We will soon give the breakdown and explanation of these keys for true comprehension of what’s being said here. Stay tuned for more.
